Importance of allowing...

yourself to drop when you need to drop, relax when you need to relax.  I am about to drop right now.  I did a wonderful practice last evening and this morning a quicky.  Tonight I'm pooped out and can't even seem to settle regardless of our tired I am.

How important is Depth in a Pose?

Aura brought this to mind!  Quickly I just wanted to comment that with BREATH, comes Depth!!  Remember....when you're trying to go to your Point, breathe in through the nostrils, then on the exhale, let your breath take you a bit deeper.

Does anyone else use this?  If so, do you find it to be true???

It is important to practice yoga 5 minutes

a day versus 1 hour a week!  Decide what is important to you about your yoga practice.  If you're not sure, ask a teacher then begin "your process" for developing the best practice you can manage in your weekly program. Continue

Overcome neck problems and headache by strengthening your neck muscles. Simple and highly effective Yoga exercises for prevention and healing. Develop strength in your arms and shoulders. Prepare yourself for headstand, handstand, scorpion, peacock and other Hatha Yoga Asanas. This is a variation of Shvanasana (Svanasana). Relax your back by doing the Yoga Pelvic Tilt - a simple but efficient exercise. You can practice several times or whenever you want. In case of minor back problems highly efficient. Simple variation of Shirshasana (Sirsasana), the Yoga Headstand: You stand on your elbows, letting your head and neck completely relax. This Hatha Yoga Asana can replace the classical headstand in case of neck problems. It can also prepare you for classical headstand by developing the feeling of putting your weight on the elbows.
