I was fortunate enough to live that feeling for the better part of a year, I was young and didn't understand what I was going through (also when I fell in love with Supertramp). I know yoga is the way back to that state, which at my age, I now und...
your trip sounds like so much fun! i love mantras and yes, some of them aren't easy. lol. i've been so busy with school that i've missed posting for a while, but the semester is almost done, so i'll have some time to get back around and maybe even some new pictures! lol. hope all is going well with you!!
Yes I understand. If you read the post I sent to Aura, you'll see what happened to my studio in Ohio.. blucky! Why do things have to be that way? Don't people care about anything anymore??? It's sad.,.
Did she close it now for as is...for good??? I could possibly have taken over. It's ok to be conspicous.... no problem. I called the Woodlands yoga today to see if they were interested in having another person on board. Haven't heard anything yet! I'll let you know what transpires!!
what a coincidence: did you used to be a gymnast? me too! being limber and a tumbler was always a natural love of mine. lol. guess that's why yoga was such an obvious choice for me;)
well, it's never too late for yoga, though, right? :) i don't think age is important, it's the practice and what you get from it. i try to get my hubby to do some therapeutic yoga, but he's too "macho". lol. i keep on trying, though. even if one is only doing sun salutations or simple stretches, it's all a blessing! good luck to you and i'm glad to have you as a new friend!
Well yes I've been here for a year now....teaching art at a local 9th grade campus. This job has been very demanding yet I came here for this dream job; didn't realize the power/energy it would take out of me.
I really want to start back in teaching again since it has been a year. I've been putting out posts such as this all over the internet. Haven't advertised yet, but I'm hoping to pull a few people in to my home as that is where I feel most at ease. Not at a studio...should I be?? Not a fitness club. The level is not as intense as those who go to clubs want the hardcore workout where as I stick to classical yoga asanas which include some meditation and pranayama.
I'm open to teaching where I'm needed. I have also notice since moving here that there aren't THAT many yoga studios. I think of opening one...but I don't know that I could do both without a business partner.
So if you're interested in coming to my home, I think I could find a few more people. Let me know when you're ready!!
One of my favorite songs. Deva is going to be in Houston in November and I already have my ticket. She is awe-inspiring. I saw her in 2005 too but at a much smaller venue where we could converse and sit right close up. Thank you for posting!! Beautiful!!!
I sure hope you've come to the right place to find those whom are inspired!! I know I am always ready for and live the yoga discipline!! How about yOU?
Well welcome. Do I know you since you asked about Houston and my like?? Update me here....Welcome here...and what sent you to this site? always curious!!!!
