Hi Ellen!

I'm glad to hear you're well on your way to healing. I think that is just awesome!

The FM sits in my hips. I'm not sure how to explain this. Um, most people are effected in a specific area. I can get the all over body pain but the muscles in the hips become really tight and lock up the joint at times. So it was extreme there. If that makes sense.

I haven't had this happen in probably 2 years. I try and keep them flexible. I've just recently found lunges are not good on my knees! Not a fibro thing feels more like a joint/bone thing. So learning to focus on non lunge stuff. I dunno. Every day is an learning experience :)

RE is not a career to be the 'bread winner' of the family with.
I love the challenges it presents and the people I deal with are mostly very kind. I am hoping the market will improve and people feel more confident to make a move.

Hi Ellie,
Yes I was diagnosed a couple of years ago and needed some healing. I tried a bunch of other things, and raw worked almost instantly. (5 days). I think there are others who have experienced relief of arthritis. It is great for reducing any sort of swelling.

Day 18 Post-Surgery (Total Hip Replacement)

Whew, I did it! The morning of the surgery I got up, did my yoga, taking as long as I wanted to stretch out my muscles and relax. I was really focusing on my breathing and my thigh muscles, since I knew there would be pain and trauma. I now know that doing this on a regular basis prior to surgery really helped me afterwards! Whew, I missed last week and my whole body bunched up and revolted. I feel like I'm also more sensitive to what I consume than I ever have been, or at least I notice it now! But I went to yoga therapy this morning and feel much better now, some of the pain that had built back up has been relieved, and I feel inspired to keep using what I've learned. Day #8

My 2nd class was today. I could definitely stretch farther, and it all felt a little easier, but I'm really feeling it now in my hip! Perhaps I overdid the rotation just a bit, huh?! But the energy level is good, and I know I feel better than I would if I hadn't gone :-) Stuck to my lower calorie and healthier diet today too, had a green smoothie for supper (broccoli, salad greens, orange, apple, a bit of vanilla soymilk and cherry juice with ice). Day #3

The yoga made me feel so good!, so I think I overdid my other activities and was hurting last night. Walking is not so bad, but standing is not good. I went on a tour of an art studio, historic printing press, and mansion yesterday and in effect, I stood on one leg for 1-1/2 hours (can't distribute weight evenly on both hips when standing), and ended up tossing and turning last night.
